Spiigelwnd [Spiegelwind] is the meeting of breath and strings, of wood and metal, of stillness and movement.
In the interplay of Anne Willem (oboe, kotamo) and Sebastian Lange (saxophone, bass clarinet), a stream of sound emerges that is constantly transforming: at times as fragile as the beat of a wing, at times earthy and pulsing like a heartbeat.
Their music carries traces of classical, jazz, world, and experimental traditions. It is a mirror that sets the listener into resonance, and a wind that carries sound into unexpected directions.
Improvisation is their core: listening, responding, unfolding – always in the moment, always in dialogue.
Thus, every performance becomes a journey, where boundaries dissolve, spaces open, and the audience becomes part of a living sonic image.
